Key Industry Sector - Education

 

The quality and responsiveness of the education industry affects the ability of all other Australian industries to recruit and develop an appropriately skilled workforce. A detailed scoping of this large and critical industry will be part of the initial work of IBSA.

Specialist areas within the industry are expected to include:

Education learning environment
Learning design
Delivery and facilitation
Assessment
Training advisory services
Co-ordination, management and quality of training/assessment services
Specialist language, literacy and numeracy practice

The Training and Assessment Training Package TAA04 is now available. The package details competency standards and qualifications that are recognised nationally by industry and training regulators. It has replaced the Training Package for Assessment and Workplace Training BSZ98.
