Training
& Assessment Training Package – Professional Development Program
Innovation and Business Skills Australia, the formal link between
innovation and business and the national VET system, is conducting
a series of full-day professional development workshops across
Australia that focus on the use and application of the new TAA04
Training and Assessment Training Package.
The introduction of the TAA04 Training Package will have a substantial
impact on Australia’s VET
system. It will provide a critical focus point for developing
the initial and ongoing competence of Australia’s training and
assessment workforce. It is designed to develop the next generation
of trainers and assessors working in a variety of VET contexts
and to support the continuing professionalism of existing VET
trainers and assessors.
The next step is implementation. The workshops are part of a range
of state/national initiatives that aim to optimise your use of
the Package.
The objectives of the workshops are threefold:
- provide detailed information on using & interpreting TAA04
- identify ideas and options in using and interpreting TAA04
- collaborate in using and interpreting TAA04
Each workshop will be interactive and specifically targetted at
those involved in the delivery and assessment of the TAA04 Training
and Assessment Training Package.
Each workshop will aim to help you:
- explore the content of TAA04
- unpack the competencies
- develop ideas for quality learning
- recognise pathways
- consider assessment issues
- know about support materials
- clarify any issues & information gaps
The following stakeholders are particularly encouraged to attend:
RTOs seeking scope (including enterprise, community, private &
public RTOs), all trainers and assessors
All workshop participants will receive a professional development
kit specifically aimed to assist in the implementation and application
of the Training and Assessment Training Package. Refreshments
will be provided. To register for a workshop, simply fill in the
registration form that corresponds to your location and fax back
to Innovation and Business Skills Australia on 03 9815 7001.
If your
organisation would like to hold your own unique Professional Development
Workshop for your Staff and/or Clients please contact us to arrange
